Virginia Tech Corps of Cadets embody the spirit of Ut Prosim: “That I may serve,” by loading boxes of home goods and bottles of water onto a truck to deliver to people without clean water post-hurricane Helene in Giles County, Virginia.
July 26, 2023 – Blacksburg, Virginia. University Libraries. Maker Camp is a four-day camp for students age 10-14. They build arcade games out of cardboard and Library studio equipment and powered by a Raspberry Pi computer. Their families are invited to play the games at the end of the week.
June 29, 2023 – Blacksburg, Virginia. Black College Institute. Moss Arts Center. The last day of the Black College Institute’s campus program at Virginia Tech had students presenting their projects on stage at the Moss Arts Center. Dr. Crasha Townsend welcomed campers and families and various Virginia Tech program directors, camp officials, and campers talked about their experiences.
July 18, 2022 – Virginia Tech Campus. Imagination Drone Camp 2022 is a camp hosted by a partnership between College of Engineering/ Aerospace and Ocean Engineering, the Center for Enhancement of Engineering Diversity (CEED), ICTAS, Wing, and MAAP.
