Clark is an aspiring debut author who is sending his first manuscript around to literary agents to find the right match for his publishing journey.
He is skilled in technical writing. He’s a coauthor on scientific research published in the Journal of Wildlife Research. Clark’s MFA thesis is dedicated to understanding composition and directing viewer attention in VR360 films as part of fulfillment for his Master of Fine Arts degree in Science & Natural History Filmmaking from Montana State University.
He attributes his recent foray into fiction writing partly to the personal impact of reading the novel Red, White & Royal Blue by Casey McQuiston. His goal in writing a contemporary romance of his own is to represent male/male romances that are not about the “coming out” process, nor features characters who are uncertain of or questioning their sexual orientation.
His first manuscript, Sunsets Down Under [working title], is informed by his professional experience in wildlife research and natural history filmmaking. It is centered around two men who fall in love while traveling through the equally beautiful and treacherous Australia Outback. Read more about Sunsets Down Under, HERE.
