Clark DeHart is a wildlife conservationist, natural history filmmaker, and former TV Presenter. He earned a bachelor’s degree in wildlife science from Virginia Tech. During this time, he gained undergraduate research experience in the WHAPA Lab, which led to becoming a published coauthor in the scientific research paper: Density and activity patterns of pumas in hunted and non-hunted areas in central Argentina, Wildl Res (2016) 43 (6): 449–460.

Clark attended Montana State University’s MFA program in Science and Natural History Filmmaking. He directed several films that premiered at film festivals, including a film on the research dedicated to understanding mountain lion population sizes in the western USA. His MFA thesis centered around 360 filmmaking and directing compassion and focusing audience attention in non-traditional film composition. He traveled to eight National Parks to create a video that reflected the experience of visiting iconic National Park attractions and overlooks in a 360 view.

Between 2011 and 2013, Clark was an on-screen cast member and part of the crew for the nationally syndicated educational/informational series Aqua Kids. He appeared in 54 episodes of seasons 7-9, traveling around the USA to feature the efforts of researchers and wildlife conservationists who are working to improve our natural world.
